Garment
Garment is a textile material that are formed from the fabric by cutting and sewing with certain measurement.Garment is such a material which protect the human being from rough environment/to cover themselves / to in crease the attractiveness.Generally Garments are produced by cutting the wide range of rectangular fabric but sometime garment are produced directly from fabric without cutting by the help of sewing known as linking.
Example: shirt, pants ,T-shirt , polo shirt, sweater etc.

It is the vital part to manufacture the garment accurately. Normally
design is given by the buyer by providing the measurement and the
requirement of the garment . Sometime in the R& D department makes
sketch according of the measurement and requirement of the buyer and
show the sketch to buyer to get final approval . After noticing the
sketch the buyer makes comment or approval for the bulk production.

The process to make the copy of different parts of a garments in a hard paper.then the hard paper of different part are known as pattern. At first , pattern can be drawn in a single paper ( two or more pattern ) often this the paper should be individualized by cutting to get different part of the garment . All the single parts are called pattern. It means the different part of the garments need separate pattern.Type of pattern

Basic pattern is the main pattern where there is no any design imported to increase the attractiveness of garments. Basic pattern is made according to the ideal structure of the body shape such large , medium and small group . These are made according to ages of kids wear.
